GOD
is your source.

"But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant." Deuteronomy 8:18

Until you settle this in your heart, you will be led around by every wind, every economy, and every man with a checkbook. God is your source. Your job is not your source. Your savings is not your source. The market is not your source. He is.

Notice what Moses said: He gives you the power to get wealth — that He may establish His covenant. God has never been threatened by your abundance. He authored it. There was no poverty in Eden. There is no poverty in heaven. Poverty came in with the curse, and Jesus already broke the curse.

Here is the question that breaks people open: when did God ever bless one of His own children with lack?

He did not bring Israel out of Egypt empty-handed. The Bible says they came out with silver and gold and not one feeble person among their tribes. He did not let David, His servant, beg bread. He told us plainly through David's pen, The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

God doesn't need anybody to bless you. He can bless you all by Himself.

Stop looking sideways. Stop watching the news to find out if you are going to make it this month. Lift your eyes. Your covenant did not come from a politician and it cannot be revoked by one. The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just, and your Father knows what you have need of before you ask.

He is your source. Act like it today.

A PRAYER

Father, You are my source. Not my paycheck. Not my position. You. I take my eyes off the systems of this world and I lift them to You. Establish Your covenant in my finances today, in Jesus' name, amen.
